In this interactive family workshop, children and adults step into the world of gibbons living in the rainforests of Java, Indonesia. Together, they discover how apes find food, stay safe, play, and learn from their families.

Using a large rainforest map, participants complete playful challenges and make decisions as a group: Where can we find the best fruit? Who should lead the way? How do we respond to neighbouring ape families?

Based on long-term field research, this workshop offers a fun and engaging introduction to ape intelligence, family life, and survival in the rainforest.
